Emerald Ash Borer Silviculture Guidelines Advisory Committee Findings and Guidance Update

Save the Date! October 2nd, 2018, at the Riverrail Bar & Restaurant in Shiocton, WI.

Wisconsin Society of American Foresters Fox River Valley Chapter & the Great Lakes Timber Professional Association Joint Meeting:

EAB Silviculture Guidelines Advisory Committee Findings
and Guidance Update

Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is a threat to many of the forests in our area. Much debate has been made about how to best manage the woods to help combat against this threat while keeping the woods healthy and productie. The WI EAB Silviculture Guidelines Advisory COmmittee, organized by the WI DNR, will have updated findings and guidance completed at the time of our meeting. With these findings and guidance, we can begin to propose and implement new management indeas and directives in order to provide the best advice to the landowners and land managers that may be impacted by EAB in the future.

Join us on October 2nd in Shiocton as we explore the EAB Committee’s findings and discuss the future management of ash dominated forests.

More details about the day’s agenda and registration to follow.
